| Nope! did that! XD I saw in the Editor Help that the last version of ROM2 needs to install a patch before placed sacks are visible. What patch? |

| Wow, that is quite the reply man. And very usefull. But i tried using the editor to add potions to monsters but it doesnt work.. What am i doing wrong? i used the sack icon, right-clicked on a monster and added a potion. But when i kill it, no potion.. Hope anyone can help me out.. |

| There are two basic ways to get the stat potions: 1. Monsters that carry them and drop when you kill the monster. You can use the map editor to add these potions to a monster. Many maps out there have monsters which carry these potions. Personally, I think this is a lame way to get the potions (notice none of the "official" maps which came with the rom2pack.zip have any such potions). 2. You can get these potions as an inn quest reward if two conditions are met: a) Your character has sufficient requirements which I believe are: at least one skill of 91 or higher and at least 9 million XP. (note there are similar requirements for getting offered magic upgrades to the items you are wearing when you enter the inn to collect your reward....but for item upgrades you must have at least one 91 skill and at least 4 skills of 75 or higher....this works out to be around 18 mil XP). b) the quest reward must be 1 million (gold or XP) or higher. Good quests for this are level 4 dragons and level 4 troll group kill. If you are real savvy you will note that the reward for message delivery scales with your characters current XP total (ie the reward you get is roughly 2% of your current XP...which means you get offered 1 million rewards once your XP is around 50 million just for delivering a message to another inn on the map). At any rate, you will be offered a random stat potion from among the 4 possible types (body, agility, mind, spirit) provided your character is not already at maximum for that stat. Once you are at max for all 4 stats, you will no longer be offered any potions by the innkeepers. |
