| It works but the game will crash a bit more then it already does. But apart from that, not much difference. :P | ||||

| Rage of Mages "WILL" run on XP, the only problem is the installation will get to 99% and quit, you then have to go to c:\rage of mages 2 and put it in compatability mode if needed. And yes ROM2 works with vista quite nicely. Ironically newer games like Stronghold 2 keep kicking you out with or without compatability mode. | ||||

| I've personally never had any problems running ROM2 on windows XP Pro, at least not for the past 3 years since I built my "new" computer. If you are having problems, I believe most (if not all) of them will be solved simply by running the rom2.exe file in win2k or win98 compatibility mode. If that does not work for you, post back and we'll see what else can be done. NOVA |
