Hello. Character Stats have a preordained limit and you may not go past that. Even if you drink stat potions ad nauseum. Once the limit is reached, it is reached. Nobody can change it. With that said... What do you need body 90+ for? Aside the fact that too much body is the death of anybody, body 73 already makes you rather strong. More than that is just grease on grease -- unless you plan to take on class 5 monsters. But you play Multiplayer, clearly. Class 5 monsters are meant for Hat server play, where you are supposed to find Quest gear -- which is designed to boost you to the point you can take on many class 5 monsters at once. But regardless of gear and body, 2 specific class 5 monsters will always be able to extinguish your life easily. So easily that you do not want to meet them unprepared. Else, it will be black screen, press Space, and a big bag marking the spot where you last presumed to know everything about this game -- Haha. -fox |

Hi! I'm a great fan of this game, I am planning to play it online with other people (and not just with my friend) although this HAT thing is a little bit frigtening at first glance. So my original question is that please tell me if there is a way to increase my stats so high as lets say 90 without cheating. Cause I had a mage, and he was really awesome, but when I was doing Dragon 4 quest on horror, it stopped giving potions at a certain point, and so even if I duplicated and drank potions of for example body (more than I should have gotten normally) they disappeared after double click on them but my body point didnt increase. Interestingly, my mate could pump his stats with these potions exactly to the same level as I could, but he had a warrior with different stat point allocation (when creating character). From this I suppose that regardless of what type of character you play with the attribute cap is the same for everybody. Could anybody pls shed some light on this matter? How does this work exactly? Would not be it better if you could only drink a certain amount of potion for each corresponding attribute,so lets say I start a mage with a body 30 and my mate starts a character with body 42 then since you could drink 10 potions of body with a character then the mage could never catch up with the warrior body-wise. Because now it seems to be working like there is a cap, lets say 50, on body and every character can reach that even if he/she started with body 15. Any comment? And I also read that body can be raised up to 90+, I suppose it can be done only with equipment. Am I wrong? Or can be Rom2 updated so there is a higher attribute cap? thanks cheers |
