That is indeed a strange problem, one which I have never encountered myself. My first thought as I read your post was that perhaps you had a firewall up which might be blocking traffic, but usually when that happens the HAT and the servers will not be able to connect to each other either (which is your first clue that it's a firewall issue). My next thought is perhaps to verify every one of the IP addresses you put into your config files. You need to use your hamachi IP for all config entries (the hat.cfg and every server.cfg also).

Beyond that, I really don't have any ideas what might be wrong given what you have told us so far. When the players get disconnected, does the server window show that their character is on the map but with a (-) sign in front indicating that player has lost internet connection to the server? If the character does get passed to the server, at least you will know the hat and server are able to communicate and pass data to each other. It would mean the server was unable to maintain a communication link to the player (for whatever reason).

I hope you solve it.

you are being punished -- of course

it is because you have the arrogance to name your character Dieu
french people never change -- they believe they are so grandeur
look at result -- they can not setup a hat -- haha

hey just kidding :-) -- perhaps :-)

you say
-- people can talk to hat but can not talk to server
-- if they stay with hat screen all is ok
-- but they descend to join a server and lose contact

it is the reason you need hamachi in the first place
in fact if you turn off hamachi you experience the same behavior

so hamachi is not doing its job properly
or your firewall is interfering some how
there must be a mistake you are doing some where -- seek it

Hi, I discovered Allods2 recently, and im "trying" to run hat server to play with some friends.
I've already been throught various problems, but the last one is tought, so i though some of you guys could help maybe. Here the description:

I'm under WinXP, behind a router, connected to hamachi.

-The Hat seems to run perfeclty
-The server seems to run perfectly
-I can join a map normaly

[15.04.2008, 01:44:12] Start
[15.04.2008, 01:44:55] Server "server2" connected
[15.04.2008, 01:45:58] Login "admin" verification success [5.196.118.200:4993]
[15.04.2008, 01:46:02] "admin" joined on server "server2" with character "Dieu"

But here the big problem:

[b]Other players of the hamachi network can connect to hat, but as soon as they loggin to a server they get diconnected. After that they get the "wrong url" message [b/]

I dont have much hope but maybe somone had the same thing and managed to get throught it...

Anyway, RageOfMage2 ROXX its a great game like only russians make them.
