| Seems like a number of us old players and Hat Administrators are coming back to running Rom2. I have put up a server and will open it shortly. Currently considering HOW I am going to run my Hat. Taking all advice in from BBKing, Nova, grayfoxx and others. But as Nova pointed out Rom2 is limited in its scope. What we need is new content in the game itself. That means modified game files. Exlend who post here has some development toward that idea. I am not sure how far he as progressed. I am trying to find out. A new Rom2 or Rom2.? depends on alot of coding changes, aka alot of time. There are people and programmer out there working on this. It is possible we could see some form of Rom2 modified this year. I am certainly looking for this. Question is how good is it and where do we get the program. I am looking into this very seriously. It was always my hope Nival would come out with a Rom3 or Allods3. They never did and they dropped the ball. Some of us Nova, myself, exlend, and Vampyre have a deep interest in Rom typle gamming. I have talked to Nova and to exlend. I think we are pretty much all on the same page. I will keep this community posted in developments here. Lord Atton |
