what i mean is ... when u make a new character... withouth hacking it... you get a char thats not full on potions of body, mind, spirit and agility.. you would have to add them by drinking potions. Wich you can get the fastest by doing incoming dragon 4 quests in hard.

-- cowman ok -- i get your point we are even and i stay flaw less -- i add lol -- defiant what is the meaning of unpodded? any case i am talking of the screen where you create new character and decide how stat points must split the configurations i try i dislike and maybe you can suggest a good setup to begin for warriors |

I didn't say they weren't fragile I agree with you on that. But i disagree with the fact that you say warriors are easier. It all depends on how you are with each type of charecter. Some perfer straight-forward attack, while others perfer ranged. Its all up to the person. Besides who doesn't enjoy blowing things up with great big balls of fire? =)

well this is an easy one.... health and absorbtion.... body will do nothing on an unpodded char so will mind spirit etc... so if you want to make a fun easy char.... use health and absorbtion and maybe a bit of defence too... its not the most easy way to do things... but it is the most fun.. |

i am incorrect? i that is me? blasphemy but you are right i do not have pointy ears -- lucky me and i see you have pointy email yet your logic is flawed -- some thing is wrong :-) unwillingly you said what i said -- just in other way hit and run tactic is for who can not stand and take hits -- ergo mages are fragile |

you are more brave than me i prefer warriors -- they are more easy mages are fragile and require much care and effort but rom2 is a game with out mercy -- it harsh punish every error you make maybe this is the undying beauty of the game? we know we can not afford mistakes -- and if we survive we know we are not committing mistakes -- therefore we are cool :-) my logic is flawless |

I agree with BBKing. However I don't know much about warriors because I'm always a mage.

i agree with mind for both warrior and mage for warrior i prefer body due to hand-to-hand combat most of the time for mage spirit cuz he needs casting spells and therefore mana, avoiding direct contact |

hay my first topic -- i get bolder when creating new character you must decide assignment of stat points -- body agility mind spirit what do you think is a good setup? in my opinion new born characters are too slow to escape a bad encounter -- therefore a high agility is a waste high spirit help with elemental damage but new born characters have low life anyway and the resistances do not help much -- think in terms of bad encounter high mind is ok i believe -- you learn skills faster and gain more mana for mages high body is desirable for well known reasons -- body is never enough and every extra body point you start with make life easier in lot of ways perhaps i am making the speech too simple but i believe that high body and mind are better than high agility and spirit -- and it is worth to sacrifice agility and spirit points to boost body and mind i think i repeated my self what do you think? |
