Haha, thanks, you convinced me. The testserver will stay up until Jult is ready with his project, so we can play there.

Rom3? Who know what that would look like since Nival never made it. Jult probably is the closest to any Rom3. Never-the-less Simons Server/Nhomis is wild. Is plenty challenging enough. I know I have died there enough times. Still making progress at level 30 chr. Would be great Simon if you leave it up so I can level up my 30 warrior to 40. Like to see if I can finish the map.

Thanks,

Thank you for the compliment! I would not call it a ROM3 server, that is what Jult will bring. It's more a concept to bring several maps from Rom1, Rom2 and Evil Islands together and recreate an alternative concept of the Allods. And it's far from finished!

The final stage will include a number of Rom2 horrorquest maps. Curretly I'm trying to figure out how to make it challenging. Creating tough monsters is not the problem. But recreating the Rom2 Spirit where players actually were too scared to enter some maps... That is a real challenge!

The final map of the current project will be the starting place of future horrorquests. I'm not sure if I should keepup the current test server. I learned what I needed to know. I think I keep it up until next weekend. Hope Jult will come soon with his project, so we can exchange experiences.

What a great job Simon Dekker has done with his server. I am having a blast playing on it. Got my chr to level 21 today. Not sure how Simon did all the programming and map making. Pretty crazy what he did. Elements of Rom2 in theme and lots of good loot and fast action. Between Jult's Rom3 Server and Nhoimis's its a toss up. Both are great. Very different stype of play on each. All I can say is if you loved Rom2 and want a 3D game this is it.
