| Pet Rushaka, I will check that out. Still your style of play is very different from the Rom2 that Monolith sold in the US. Then too the mods in Rom2 are well known and sometimes crazy. Still I do give you Rusians alot of credit for doing something that NIval would not do and that is give us a newer Rom2. I strongly suspect the basic game of Allods2 and Rom2 still could be the base for a newer 3D style game if someone wanted to make it. Further the fact that some 8 years later we are still playing Rom2/Alods2 is a huge credit to the makers and Nival and those programmers and artists in Russia that conceived the game. Well done!!! | I have been playing on the Russian Server that petRushaka posted about. It is interesting in their point of view. Very different than the Rom2 I am used to playing. No mods there at all. The chrs are so weak it is unbelieveable. Mage has like 48 body to start with. Your chrs die alot. You wind up losing your robes and items exp on the harder maps. The advancement is at a snails pace compared to our Rom2. Still it is interesting to play. Very Challanging to say the least. Where I am used to playing on horror maps with easy just staying alive on an Easy Map is hard to do. My warrior has just over 200 body. With 8 resistance to spells I can't even handle any fire to say the least. One fireball take about 1/3 of my health. I have not seen any rings or amulets in Easy Maps that help boost any resistance. I do applaude Vampire and the other Russians who changed the old Allods2 to the newer game. Still it will be a long time before I even get to hard. Take care, Lord Atton |
